Fall images of the Day

Hello everyone!

As autumn time comes around again and the festivities begin, I thought I would take a few pictures of the state of our leaves right now. Now that we’ve gathered our firewood for the year, leaf blowing and raking comes next!

Ten Hour Nature Video – Wind in the Pines

Hello everyone! Below is a nature video I recorded behind where I live. I recorded it to gain visuals and sounds of nature and have finally published it just today. Listen to the birds, wind rustling trees and grass, flies, chirping insects, bees, distant cars, and more. I hope you enjoy!

Also, a quick note on my book Treasure on the Southern Moor that is now in the bookstore, I am currently waiting on my complimentary copies to be printed and shipped. As soon as I receive them, I’ll do a video showcasing the book!

Tahquamenon Falls – Nature Blogging

Here are a few pictures a took a couple years ago when my family and I vacationed near Tahquamenon Falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There were two sets of falls, the upper and the lower. I cannot remember what all I photographed, though it appears that the first few pictures are the lower and the last few are the upper. Enjoy!

Solar Eclipse – Nature Blogging

Hello everyone!

I hope you enjoyed the solar eclipse! In the end, I am glad that I did not go to the path of totality, as I heard that 80% of that path was under a cloud cover today. Where I live, the eclipse reached 80% to totality, and though it did not get quite dark, the lighting did change quite a pit. Unfortunately, the pictures do not quite do it justice, yet you can still see differences. Several of the pictures look as though there is a cloud cover, even though the skies were clear! And even though my small camera’s shots of the eclipse wasn’t the best, you still can see a shot of the crescent sun.

The first few pictures were taken before the eclipse took place so you can see how bright a day it was. Then, as you progress through the reel, you can see shade take over.I hope you enjoy!
